Cecilia joined August Consulting in January 2006, as a fresh graduate from university.
As part of the account servicing team, Cecilia has worked together with the Senior Consultants in her teams to launch more than 10 IPOs. With a focus on China-based companies listed on Singapore Exchange, her portfolio of IPOs includes China Energy Limited (144A), Foreland Fabrictech Holdings Limited, China Oilfield Technology Services Group Limited, and JES International Holdings Limited (144A). In addition to IPOs, she also works to coordinate and facilitate investor and media relations programmes for listed companies.
In the third year of her undergraduate studies in 2003, Cecilia undertook an internship as Market Research Assistant at China Export Commodities Fair, which is the biggest trade fair in China. During the internship, she assisted in carrying out research in the Export-import markets, from gathering information, conducting trade surveys, to analyzing data and writing report. She made significant contribution to the Project “Analysis of Sino-Malaysian Complementary Trade”, which drove a comprehensive study into potential market growth in complementary trade between China and Malaysia.
Cecilia has a Master of Science degree in Information Studies from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to that, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commercial English from Sun Yat-sen University, China.
