Joining August Consulting in December 2006, Puay Yang brings with him more than a year’s experience in Investor Relations, gained during his employment at another financial PR firm.
Engaged in the role of account servicing, he is involved in IR / MR work for a portfolio of small-to-mid cap SGX-listed companies. These clients span across various industries, including construction, agriculture, manufacturing, education, food and beverage, steel, shipping and IT services to mobile telecommunications.
Working with Senior Consultants, Puay Yang was actively involved in the conceptualisation and execution of communication strategies for his clients. He has managed four IPOs and 13 retainers previously.
Before joining the financial PR firm in 2005, Puay Yang has also serviced SGX-listed companies in the area of online investor relations for a year during his time at ShareInvestor Pte Ltd. Apart from sales and account servicing, he also played a key role as the operations manager for ShareInvestor’s inaugural issue of its SI Guide in 2004.
Puay Yang graduated from the Curtin University of Australia with a double degree in Finance and Marketing.
