May Nah joined August Consulting in May 2003, bringing with her corporate and marketing communications experience in the fund management and airline industries.
In the past five years she has been with the Company, she has successfully launched close to 20 IPOs of companies from diverse industries – such as ARA Asset Management, China Milk Products Group, China Oilfield Technology Services Group, MacarthurCook Industrial REIT, PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk, and StarHub.
Aside from IPOs, she also handles media and investor relations, as well as marketing communications, for listed and non-listed companies. Her present and previous clients include Beauty China Holdings, China Angel Food, Foreland Fabrictech Holdings, Olympus Singapore, SP Chemicals and Starbucks Coffee Singapore.
Before joining August Consulting, May Nah was the Communications Officer in the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Pte Ltd (GIC), a global fund management firm with a fund size of more than US$100 billion. During her three years in GIC, she was responsible for the full spectrum of communications, including media and public relations, corporate branding, recruitment marketing, event management, internal communications and employee relations.
She also organised successful events such as GIC’s 20th Anniversary celebrations, involving the Prime Minister, Senior Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, other cabinet ministers, as well as CEOs of top global fund management companies.
Prior to GIC, May Nah was the Associate Editor in Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) for a year. She wrote and edited for Outlook, SIA’s main newspaper which reached out to its 20,000 employees.
May Nah has a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, specialising in Public and Promotional Communication.
