Nora joined August Consulting in June 2003, bringing with her marketing and corporate communications experience from American International Assurance Co., Ltd (AIA), one of the largest life insurers in Southeast Asia.

In the past four years at August Consulting, Nora has launched over 20 IPOs, including prominent ones like Bio-Treat Technology Limited (one of the largest water treatment companies listed on SGX), Sarin Technologies Limited (the first Israeli company to be listed on SGX), China Milk Products Group Limited (the largest producer of raw milk, cow embryos and bull semen in China), as well as property-related counters such as Soilbuild, First REIT (Singapore's healthcare REIT sponsored by Lippo Karawaci) and most recently, MI-REIT.

Currently, Nora handles media and investor relations for clients spanning different industries. Some examples include First REIT, Petra Foods, China Milk, as well as C&O Pharmaceutical.

Between 2000 to 2003, Nora was the Assistant Manager of Corporate Communications at AIA. She was involved in corporate branding as well as the planning and execution of various communications programmes, targeted at AIA's 1.6 million policyholders, its 4,000-strong agency force and the general public.

Some successful projects undertaken by Nora included the revamp of the AIA Corporate Website which incorporated personalised services for AIA agents and policyholders; the publicity campaign when AIA was named the coveted eInsurer of the Year at the eAwards 2001; the opening of AIA Tampines in 2002; and the launch of AIA Living Essentials, the first plan in Singapore to cover SARS, unemployment and terrorism. Her dedication and outstanding performance had led her to win three spot awards issued by the General Manager.

Prior to AIA, Nora was an Associate in Huntington Communications, handling the media relations for Mattel Southeast Asia and Sing Singapore 2000 (for the National Arts Council).

Nora has a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. During her professional internship, she wrote several articles for Financial Planner.
