Eunice joined August Consulting in 2006 as Consultant, responsible for investor/media relations and IPO communications work for a broad spectrum of clients, spanning the pharmaceutical, water treatment, manufacturing, shipping and power grid sectors. She also handled media relations for two litigation PR projects, which were high profile legal cases in Singapore.
Prior to joining August, she accumulated extensive experience in investor relations and financial communications at two other leading financial communications agencies.
She was part of the account servicing teams that serviced a total of 10 small-to-mid cap SGX-listed clients in various industries such as construction, property development, IT services, manufacturing, health/beauty, lifestyle brand development and management, as well as fisheries and seafood trading.
For these clients, Eunice was actively involved in the conceptualisation and execution of various communication strategies designed for her respective clients, and in handling their investor and media relations. She also handled M&A projects involving her clients, such as Frontline Technologies’ (now known as BT Frontline) purchase of Capgemini’s Asian business units, and a number of IPOs like Eucon Holding Limited and China Fishery Group Limited.
Apart from client work, Eunice had also been instrumental in developing and implementing marketing and business development plans for both of these firms.
Before embarking on a career in communications, Eunice was a marketing executive for a non-profit organisation in 2003, responsible for coordinating workplace health promotions and corporate donation programmes.
After graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Southeast Asian Studies in 1999, Eunice taught English Language at Assumption English School from 2000 to 2003. Apart from her teaching responsibilities, she was very active in organising events for the school, which included fund-raisers like fun-fairs, walkathons and anniversary dinners.
She also holds a Diploma in Public Relations and Mass Communications awarded by the Institute of Public Relations Singapore in 2006.
